His initial releases “Your Endless Slumber” & “A Voice For The Urban Darlings” both reached the top of the album charts in both Ireland and the UK at the time of their release with singles from the album gracing contemporary music charts right around the world.

Gavin’s witty on-stage performance and sensitive compositions, solidify his position as a singular artist and have seen him grace reputable stages like Vicar Street, Bord Gais Energy Theatre and The National Stadium in Dublin to City Winery Boston and the Legendary West 44″ and Broadway Jazz Mecca, Birdland Theatre in New York City

Praised for writing “bone breakingly beautiful”music. Kenan Flannery is a 25-year-old IYMA’s award winning folk songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. At his core he is a storyteller for the working class, with a voice “that hits you with the intensity of a hundred Irish poets and musicians”. He mixes his upbringing of Irish folk/ballad music with his love of American folk music and has been compared to the likes of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Luke Kelly.
